Accounts Production is the newest module in the Suite and as with any new piece of software a huge amount of testing went into this release - not just in house, but on beta sites too.
The software is user friendly and allows you to eliminate errors, avoid missing entries, and also work out final totals before printing. If I had to do all the processing manually it would increase my workload by 500% and I certainly wouldn’t be able to make a living!
The fact that the vast majority of accountants rely on compliance software to produce statutory accounts gives some indication of the complexity and the level of detail required in testing such a product and in the case of statutory accounts the devil really is in the detail.
We are big enough to accept some things slipped through the net, but we are reactive to our customer’s feedback and we have responded swiftly to issues raised since release. This is something we will continue to do for all of our products.
